The children from Aughamullan PS and St. Brigid's Brocagh participated in the PEERs Project. The children had the opportunity to explore the contents of the local Torrent river and identified and classified water creatures such as shrimps, etc and compared them with pond life creatures like tadpoles, newts, diving beetles and pond skaters.
The children had hands on practical experence of river investigation and enjoyed pond dipping and minibeast hunting
