Today, while working on the topic of electricity in our primary 5 class, the challenge was to give our junk Iron Man character, that we had created (Ted Hughes) some glowing eyes. So it was time to call the expert! Stephen from OHanlon Electrical (OEL) very kindly demonstrated how to create an electrical circuit, with glowing eyes, using bulbs to include a switch. The children watched intently and were captivated by the task.
They showed fantastic problem-solving skills, and asked lots of questions about electrical circuits. The children were so excited when we changed the original design to make the eyes even better!
