Parent Support Group

A big thank you to everyone who attended our last meeting to discuss fundraising opportunities.

Parents' Support Group Meeting

Please feel free to come along to our next Parent Support Group meeting. We would love to continue to raise the profile of our school and get as much fundraising done as possible, while having plenty of fun along the way. We are always striving to raise some much needed funds for our school and this year we need all the support we can get to enable us to purchase some much needed play equipment, resources and safety equipment for our children. We are delighted with the support from the Parent Support Group however; some new membership would always be greatly appreciated. Further details on our next meeting will be posted as soon as it has been decided upon.

We also have a Parent Support Group notice board at the front of the school, please keep an eye out for new notices to help keep you informed of our busy school life.

Many thanks for all your dedication to the children and school, it is always appreciated.

RE: Match Funding

You will hopefully be aware of the fantastic work your Parents Association are doing to raise funds for our school. We wanted to take this opportunity to remind you about the Match Funding Scheme and how a little bit of your time could raise double the funds for the PA.

If you work for an organisation that has a match funding policy, any money you raise could be matched by your employer. Companies may match the fundraising total for an event, or for the stall that their employee is working on. Usually, the employee will need to supply them with a letter from the PSG detailing the date and nature of the event, together with the total raised.

We understand that the high street banks, building societies, supermarkets and large corporations are likely to do match funding, but these schemes are not exclusive to the major corporate giants. If you work for an independent company, they may be interested in charitable giving through match funding too.

We would be grateful if you could see if your employer has a match funding scheme, or if they are willing to match fund any of our events. If you can't help out this time, but you know the company you work for has a match funding policy, please let us know. This could be a really large source of income for the PSG and help us raise money for Aughamullan PS.

If you are able to help us this way, please let us know and we can discuss your companies' requirements.
