Our brilliant Primary 5 boys and girls made some Rice Krispie Snowmen this week and my goodness what fun we had!!
We completed some instructional writing as a whole class as to how we were going to make our snowmen and what steps we needed to take. We had to think about the ingredients we needed and how long they needed to set in the fridge for! Once we completed this we then had to weigh out our ingredients and then shape our snowmen.
We have been focusing on 2d and 3d shapes this week in Numeracy so this was a great opportunity to discuss how to form the body of the snowmen from our knowledge of the properties of 3d shapes.
I think you will agree that our snowmen have turned out amazing!
