As part of the ‘Children’s Book Ireland Awards 2025’ we have been taking part in the ‘Junior Juries’ programme, reading and engaging with a wide variety of children’s books.
Linking to our Literacy work on ‘Myths and Legends’ we read the story of ‘Beanie the Bansheenie’ by Eoin Colfer. We loved the mythical main character and we decided to create our own Beanie using clay. We are so proud of how our characters turned out!
