Today, our school celebrated Global Climate Day. In our classrooms, we discussed Climate Change and the effect that it is having on our Earth. We then got to work designing awareness posters to be displayed around the school; they highlight all the different ways we can help our environment.
Then Miss McCourt held a fantastic assembly during which we learned about Greta Thunberg, a 16 year-old climate activist who is working tirelessly to raise awareness and try and change laws regarding how we treat our world.
A super day jam-packed full of learning about the world around us and continuing our Eco-Warriors mission.
