Measurement Mayhem!
1st Dec 2025
Our Primary 6 and 7 had a great morning extending their knowledge of measure to outside the classroom today
We used trundle wheels to complete an investigation into lengths within our school building, measuring the perimeter of the playground and set distances. They then had to record their answers and once they had done so, they converted between kilometres and metres using their skills with decimals! We have recently been learning about instructional writing, too, which linked superbly today with the boys and girls having to follow lots of careful, multi-step instructions to calculate distances. Connected learning made fun
Well done Primary 6 and 7. What a brilliant activity with lots of super listening and teamwork skills!
