We were delighted to welcome Colby and Rae from NET Ministries to Holy Family P.S today. They taught us all about respecting our faith and what we can do to nurture our faith. We did activities in the hall as a whole school and then we branched out into our classrooms to continue the work individually.
The P5/6/7 children worked very hard as teams to build machines using only their bodies - they had to mimic a toaster, a blender and a car by organising themselves into the positions. This was to help us understand the message of us all being important members of the Catholic Church and how we each have a role to play; a very poignant message at the beginning of Lent. They did an amazing job. We also learned a little bit about the background to Rae and Colby's faith ministries and we are so appreciative to them for sharing their stories.
